Hey there boys and girls. i remember oh about 5 years ago when living back in Kingsville how great it was to have a newspaper that actually printed some of the BS that goes on not only in Kingsville but in South Texas. I pondered to my self: if we only had a place for the people to make their voice be heard. If we only could write a letter that would actually get printed (even if we signed our own name to it). The Record did print a few of my letters but never nothing like what El Defenzor would tackle. Now we have a place to voice our opinions and we can even sign Benjamin Franklin or John Henry if we want yet this board seems to be taken for granted now that it is here! Come on this board is one of the most visited & respected by South Texas Politicos. Tell everyone what you want to bitch about what you want to compliment. Everybody reads and that is great. Yes the news even travels by word of mouth. But just think if YOU put your 2 cents in. Or just your opinion. We might not agree and things might get warm but at least we are speaking up. Come on guys I know not one of you here are a PUSSY CAT! Let me here it from the BIG DOGS. We are very influential if we make our views known! There is a movement happening let it not stall! Dont get impatient and keep the faith. Dont whine about being left out but make sure we are included. Dont cry about the past let us get this thing done! If you dont want to be excluded then speak up or forever hold your peace! Forward and never give up! Remember nobody can make you feel less if you always remember you are a DIAMOND!
